An Extraordinary Year
We have just completed our first year as an access to justice, not for profit firm.
We are proud to have helped over 300 people in that time, and of the fact that for every chargeable hour of work we did, we did another two totally pro bono. We remain committed to helping however and whenever we can; we remain committed to our community and our clients; we remain committed to providing our services free of charge to the Armed Forces; we remain committed to delivering our advice, representation and assistance in person and by remote across all our platforms, to ensure that we can reach as wide an audience as possible.
We owe a huge thank you to the Communities Team at Essex County Council for their commitment to the vision for this firm and their unwavering support.
Above all, in this troubled year, we saw the impact of our work on hundreds of clients, some of whom would have otherwise received no legal advice, guidance or representation.
We are indebted to those who volunteer their time and services to us, notably Molly Herbert who manages our social media, and Ruth Eisenberg, whose assistance from the very start has made it possible for us to function.
We are truly humbled by the responses to our help. We are proud to help you. We may not always succeed but you will always have our best.
From everyone at Central Law CIC
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a very happy, safe 2021!
